The folks over at rent.com talked to 1,000 u.s. renters to see what it's really like to go through a breakup with someone you're living with. and you know what? and you know what? it pretty much. Breaking up while living together is far more complicated than your normal breakup. for many couples, you’ll still be living together even after breaking up, at least until someone is able to find a new place.. When you read breakup tips, they assume all you need to know is how to say it's over. but "ending it" isn't the end when you live together; it's just the beginning..
A chance to prove your change and that you can make your ex happy . being broken up but still living together is a chance to prove to your ex that you are evolving in a positive way on a daily basis. you really shouldn’t see it as something negative but rather as a unique opportunity to show to your ex that you can make them happy!. The entire breakup/moving out process could be over and done with in two months, and you could be free to find the right guy. you’ll both be in hell. or, worse, you’ll get back together. Ouch, i really feel for you, because i did the same thing. less than entirely successfully, but i can at least list off what helped for me.. number one by far was spending as much time out of the house as possible..
